I can’t believe how I fell behind on my blogging. Not good. But what is good is the reason for my temporary absence. I’ve been swamped with work. Yay! That’s always a great thing for a freelancer like moi. I went on my travel trip to Curacao in the Caribbean for the Jewish Heritage themed trip. Got back and hit the ground running. My next trip is to Colombia and I leave Friday, December 3rd. Yipes! that’s right around the corner. And right smack in the middle of getting back and taking off again is Turkey Day. This is an aside but a helpful tip: “The only thing that should be stuffed is the turkey.”  That has been my Thanksgiving mantra for years. I finally realized that gorging on holiday food, then sitting around with my relatives moaning about how full we are isn’t really all that fun. So now I plan ahead. I will only eat my faves: sweet potatoes with marshmallows (best thing my Mom makes!!! I love it), cranberries with almonds and stuffing. Then I indulge in a slice of pumpkin pie and call it a night. I feel so thankful this year for all of the wonderful people in my life and my beloved dog and his doggie friends. I’m grateful that bizniz is good. I’m enjoying my work and my clients. And today the new issue of the NY Resident magazine is live. I have 2 articles in this issue. More about that will be my very next post. Now, I must get back to work! Here’s wishing everybody a very happy turkey day with delicious sweet potatoes and marshmallows.
