I often go to events to hear agents, publishers and editors discuss what they look for in submissions. They are all still paying for essays, journalism, op-eds. Let’s quit moaning about the economy and start cheering each other up! We haven’t turned into a third world country yet. There’s still hope to get back to the days where we all have cash in our pockets and smiles on our faces. Ok, that’s my pep talk today.
