Hi, I just read your response to Dorri’s experience and how she dealt with it. I have been fortunate to be one of Dorri’s neighbors and I am happy to say friends. She is a sweetheart. She gives so much of herself and deserves all the love she gets. I was a high school guidance counselor for many years and have had a lot of experience dealing with adolescents. I also can imagine how hard it must have been to see Dorri struggling with issues growing up and your trying to do your best to help her. I think it’s wonderful that her article has gotten such a positive response and has also been so helpful to so many.You indeed have a daughter to be very proud of.

I am proud to have Dorri as a facebook friend. She is a very courageous woman who I am sure has helped a great many people with her story. As a mother, I know how sad you must have been to have found out such a horrific thing had happened to her, but she is so lucky to have someone so supportive as a mother.
