Welcome to my site. I was born on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. I love dogs. In the photo at right I’m holding my perfect Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, #BustaRhymes. At first, I named him Buster Brown. But, as a native New Yorker, I tend to drop my “R”s.
Speaking of Rs, there are two in my name.

Dorri Olds saved my book!
The nationally-lauded book designer I’d hired originally returned garbage for proofs, with widows and orphans and inconsistencies throughout. The project was very behind schedule.Luckily, Dorri agreed to take on copyediting, scanning, fixing, and placing photos
