DO tweet facts that can benefit others, retweet valuable content, create “How-To” blog posts, announce events and seminars, recommend books, movies, blogs, websites but try to keep it to one (or maybe two) topics. Humor is always great—be tasteful, or at least not vile, disgusting, sophomoric or foul.
DON’T tweet other people’s content without giving them credit with an RT and/or link to their blog and website. Don’t lie like a rug, don’t constantly pitch your own products/services—that is so unbelievably annoying! Don’t tell people every detail of your day—the only one who cares is your mother. Don’t tweet a million stupid jokes. Don’t make typos (wouldn’t it be funny if I’d spelled the word “typos” wrong? I checked to make sure I didn’t 😉 Please let me know your likes and dislikes about tweets.
