“La Vida Glam” was a high end dog fashion and dog eating event held on August 13, 2013 at The Roger Smith Hotel on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. The birthday bash for the pups was hosted by pet couturier Anthony Rubio of Anthony Rubio Designs, shown above holding his birthday Chihuahua rescue pups Bogie and Kimba who are modeling Anthony’s designer dog fashions. It was a wild birthday bash and every pooch attendee shimmered and glimmered in sparkly fashions. Anthony Rubio has been an advocate for pet adoption and his “Adopt Me Maybe” Adopt a Shelter Pet Campaign video went viral. Instead of gifts, Anthony asked guests to contribute to his favorite charity, The New Rochelle Humane Society.
