Back from Puerto Rico Press Trip

Trip was great. Stayed at Marriott Resort and Casino in San Juan. Went on bike tour around Old San Juan. Took chartered boat to an empty island — as it if were made just for me! The name of the island was Icacous. There was snorkeling available. I lasted 5 minutes. The movie Jaws ruined any desire to see things underneath the sea! I preferred lounging on the boat or flaking out on the sand. Back at the hotel had a scrumptious one-hour Swedish massage then hung out in the sauna with a bottled water that was handed to me. Room service kept my 8 down pillows and excellent mattress all neat and clean for me. Every time I turned around the bed was made, new towels kept appearing. And the hotel left me thoughtful gifts like a beach bag, a tray of fruit and cheese and a bottle of Sangria. I ate mousse every night. Each night I chose different flavors: vanilla, chocolate, last: mocha. The pool was heavenly. The beach front property had glorious ocean views. I can’t remember feeling that relaxed in a long while. Now I’m back to work — swamped with deadlines. But I’m not complaining. No sir. Life is good for this writer.
