Dog Portrait Photography

Regan Wood has been photographing pets for years. Her style is “urbane, organic and artistic.” Wood’s photos have a bold simplicity and capture the personality of her four-legged subjects. I asked her what she does about dogs who won’t sit still. “My secret is patience and a relaxed energy. Dogs feed off of our energy, so, being relaxed has a great effect.” She added that the novelty of a new location wears off for K-9s quickly.
